1. Data we collect
When you use iEatPDF, we temporarily process the files you upload solely to perform the requested operation (merge, split, compress, convert, etc.). We do not read, analyse or store the content of your files beyond what is strictly necessary for processing.
If you create an account, we collect your email address and hashed password. We also collect standard server logs (IP address, browser user-agent, timestamps) for security and abuse-prevention purposes.
2. File retention
Uploaded files and generated output files are automatically deleted from our servers within 1 hour of processing. We do not keep copies or backups of your documents.
3. How we use your data
We use collected data exclusively to:
- Provide and improve our PDF processing services
- Manage your account and authenticate your sessions
- Detect and prevent abuse or fraudulent activity
- Send you transactional emails (password reset, plan confirmation)
We do not sell, rent or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Cookies
We use only strictly necessary cookies to maintain your authenticated session. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Third-party services
File storage uses an S3-compatible object storage service. Files are stored encrypted at rest and deleted automatically after processing. No other third party has access to your files.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR and applicable data-protection laws, you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data at any time. To exercise these rights or for any privacy-related question, contact us at privacy@i-eat-pdf.com.
